iOSActivityProbe
Provides inferred activity information via the iOS activity recognition API as ActivityDatum readings. As it is not possible to do continuous, real time activity recognition due to battery and network limitations, there are several caveats to the data produced by this probe:
- The user must typically be engaged in the activity for 30 seconds or more for the activity to be detected.
- Detected activities will typically not be available for collection for several minutes. So even if the activity is detected and this probe polls, the activity might not be picked up. After a couple minutes the activity will be available for collection and a subsequent poll will pick up the reading. The reading timestamp will reflect the actual time when the activity started rather than the time of the poll.
